We're happy to announce that Famous Amos Satterlee will begin building our Surfers Top Fuel 392 Hemi. Due to busy schedules, it has been hard to reach this point in our project but its finally here. For the last few months Pat Foster has stored the "completed" dragster while waiting for us to get the engine built. We wanted the best and  both Pat Foster and Tom Jobe agreed that Amos was our man.

 Although Amos has a 3 month backlog of work in his shop, he was more than happy to be of service. Recently at the California Hot Rod Reunion at Bakersfield in October, Amos was given a Silver Wally, known as an NHRA Lifetime Achievement Award.

 It was a really honor to meet the legendary engine builder and we can't say enough about how professional and well treated we were.

 Pat and Tom are in the process of  getting engine parts that they have collected for us to Amos. As for the secret combination of the legendary Surfers power plant?  All I can say is that I have a feeling that Tom Jobe himself will being stopping by Amos' shop from time to time.
