The motor is a "secret"

With everything now blueprinted and balanced, Amos has begun putting the motor together. After lots of research and discussions the parts and tune up are coming into focus. Are we going to tell you what the secret ingredients are? I don't think so. If you think the truth can be found by reading old magazine articles about the Surfers, you'd be mistaken, that's not how it really was. Did you really think back then they would tell their competition what they were doing?  The "true" secret is 40 years old and is being improved on with today's bulletproof internal parts. The rest is all SURFERS magic.

We got really lucky with this one. We were looking for a correct early Cragar 392 blower manifold for some time but hadn't we found one. That was until just a week ago when we found one on ebay. It was totally worth the $330 that we paid. It was in really good shape. Compare the black and white photo of what the Surfers had back then, to what we found recently. We just need to drill the ports and plumb the injectors. Check out the blow off valves at the bottom of the manifold.
